The Conquest Club at Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Mandeville ignites the faith and character of boys at two key stages of growth: the Father–Son Program (K–4th grade) and the middle-school program (5th–7th grade).
In the Father–Son Program, fathers lead and mentor their young sons, building a foundation of virtue, faith, and friendship through hands-on formation and shared witness. As boys transition into middle school, leadership shifts to Regnum Christi missionaries and committed high-school mentors, offering age-appropriate formation that challenges them to deepen their relationship with Christ and embrace greater responsibility.
This intentional structure—parent-led formation in the early years and peer-supported discipleship in adolescence—ensures each boy receives the guidance, example, and instruction best suited to his stage of development, producing lasting spiritual growth and courageous young men of faith.
HOW CONQUEST WORKS
THE FATHER AND SON PROGRAM
FOR DADS AND BOYS (K–4TH GRADE)
Club meetings follow a three-stage format: the Castle, the Throne, and the Herald.
Castle: Each meeting begins in the Castle, which symbolizes the formation of foundational human virtues. Fathers and sons play a fun sport or game together, followed by a short debrief focusing on the virtue of the day.
Throne: The Throne represents the encounter with Christ the King. This stage offers spiritual formation through an interactive Gospel reflection and the story of the saint of the day.
Herald: The meeting concludes with the Herald, where dads and boys receive two simple quests to practice the virtue at home before the next meeting.

THE JOURNEY OF VIRTUE
After each meeting, each family will receive a copy of the Journey of Virtue Conquest Map that will have an updated list of quests for them to complete before the next meeting.
